My last blog about Shabu-Shabu calls for a homemade stock from pork bones, which is tedious to prepare. I found this Lee Kum Kee Soup Base for Seafood Hotpot at the grocery for less than Php 59.00 which yields about 1.5 litres of prepared stock. Not bad. I like the fact that it's not powder or granule type but in concentrated liquid form. Just add about 6 cups of water, boil and you're done. Tastes like hotpots in restaurants. :)
Available in most groceries.
