My newfound love is Nouku Kotteri Ramen. IMHO, this is good alternative to T. Ramen at Escario Central though not entirely the same. At P270.00 you get a bigger bowl with a big slice of chasyu, seaweed, green onions, bean sprouts, homemade kikugari noodles, whole ajitsuki tamago and that thick, rich, tasty broth. No wonder they have been chosen as one of Cebu's Best 100 in Best Ramen Category. The broth is a wonderful concoction of different kinds of pork, chicken and fish bones, slowly simmered over several hours to get that thick, rich sticky soup. I like the fact that it has a balanced seasoning, not too overpowering, not too salty nor too bland.
This Sachi Special is an Okonomiyaki with Yakisoba Inside. It's one of their bestsellers and it's also a filling meal itself. I tried and love all of their Okonomiyakis because the pancakes are firm yet soft and they don't scrimp on the ingredients. You should not miss their Takuyaki as well. (not in photo)
They have a unique cooking technique for their Gyoza. They come with an extra crispy lace-like shell that partially covers the five pieces of dumplings. Great pair with ramen.
Sachi Authentic Japanese Ramen Okonomiyaki is located at M.L. Quezon Avenue, Cabancalan.
